Última A systematic monograph of the Recent Pentastomida, with a compilation of their hosts Naturalis Christoffersen, M.L.; De Assis, J.E.. We compile all published information on the Recent Pentastomida published to date, including complete synonyms, and species distributions. All host species are cited and their names updated. A taxonomical history of the group, a synthesis of phylogenetic information for the taxon, and a summary of the pentastomes by host groups, with accounts of the illneses they provoke, are also provided. Several specific data and information management tools were developed within the EC Black Sea SCENE project for the Black Sea region. They are: (1) Black Sea Mnemiopsis database, (2) Black Sea Phytoplankton checklist, and (3) Black Sea Zooplankton checklist. The tools work on the Web and have simple user friendly interfaces. They will help to the Black Sea scientists to make their work with biological data more effective and productive. The tools are now being tested by the project participants and populated with the corresponding data and information. ABSTRACT A checklist composed of 105 species of parasitic Hymenoptera, which includes the non-aculeate Apocrita, recorded in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul (MS), Brazil, is presented. A new list, containing 153 genera obtained in recent surveys is also presented; out of these 131 are new records. The major knowledge gaps for these organisms in the State and the prospects for future studies for these organisms are discussed.
